We are very pleased to share with you that we have a plan for beginning to gather “in person” for worship on Sunday mornings.
Beginning Sunday, August 2, 2020 we will gather in the grove at 9:30 for worship, weather permitting.
We will be recording the service in the grove and then after the service ends it will be available on the Facebook page and website so that we can continue offering virtual worship each Sunday. Written home worship services will continue to be mailed for those who do not have access to the internet and are not comfortable gathering “in person”.
Face masks and social distancing will be required on the church grounds at all times.
If the weather does not allow for outside worship in the grove, outside worship will be cancelled, and worship will be virtual on “Facebook Live” only. (available on the church website as well)
As a safety measure, we encourage you to bring you own chairs.
In case of inclement weather, a decision will be made to cancel worship in the grove by 8:00 AM on Sunday morning. You will be able to find cancellation information on WFMZ, Channel 69’s website, Salem’s website, Salem’s Facebook page or by calling the church office.
We encourage you to prayerfully and carefully consider how you will choose to worship; “in person”, virtually on the Facebook page or website, or personal home worship. There is no “right” or “wrong” decision. Our primary concern is keeping everyone safe and healthy. The Re-Opening Team, Consistory and Pastor Kaye will continue to monitor the number of cases in our area and make appropriate changes as necessary in order to insure everyone’s safety.
