The Ladies Aid is known as the The Quilters of Salem UCC. We hand quilt anyone’s quilt top that never got finished by Grandma or whoever. We charge 50 cents per yard of thread, which is used in the quilting, plus we charge for marking a quilt, putting it a frame, and binding a quilt.  We meet every Wednesday from 9am – 3pm. You do not need to be a member of Salem to join the quilters.  If you don’t know how to quilt but would like to learn, please stop by some Wednesday and check us out. We would love to have you visit and show you what we do.  If you stay over lunch, please bring your own lunch but we will provide coffee, tea, dessert and fun.  For other fundraising, we make apple dumplings in April and in October we make our famous chow-chow.
